Fashion Stylist Academy

Elite Fashion Academy LA’s Stylist course is a one month program dedicated to accelerating the careers of students so that they are able to define their own individualistic look and approach to styling. Our team of experts works to bring out the best in each student, introducing them to the individual genres of Print, Fashion, Personal Shopping, Television, and Film, and teaching them how to market themselves and develop their unique styling ability.

The course takes place over four weeks in a fully equipped classroom, beginning with on-set etiquette and styling basics and covering a multitude of subjects including kit requirements, techniques and the business aspects of styling. In addition to the work done in class, the program also includes field trips to PR firms, visits to studio costume rental houses and department store studio services divisions. This provides students with many of the practical skills they require in order to begin their career working as a stylist.

Students attend an eight-hour workshop once a week for a period of four weeks, after which many graduates have been placed into internship programs with stylists, PR firms, showroom and other industry contacts.
